French Country Dining Table
A french country dining table from the Normandy region of France. The Louis XV style dining table has ends that pull out and will support leaves (no leaves with the table). However closed these ends have nice heavy bronze handles. Parquetry top (some shrinkage to some parquetry) give the top a great look. Their is a nice carved and scrolled stretcher connecting the four cabriole legs ending with a scroll foot. This table can be used for eating or even displayed as a center table. C. 1880.
