Vintage Bench-Made English Linen Press

Here is a fine vintage bench-made English linen press. There are two doors which swing all the way to the side on a jack-knife hinge. Each door has two raised panels with burl walnut featured. These doors open to reveal three adjustable shelves. The top of the press has a detailed broken arch pediment, and arched on each side too. Below the cabinet there is a writing slide and a 2 over 2 drawer configuration with burl walnut front and banding. The lower drawer has a concave starburst inlay. The press rest upon four ogee bracket feet. This piece was made in England and sold here in USA, then purchased back from the client. Very high quality piece!
