9th Century Louis XV walnut chaise à la reine, with needlepoint covering, well-carved chair frame having a beautiful patina. The chair construction is very sound and the tapestry is in very good condition. There is fraying to the back of the chair but original. Sits well.

A fabulous pair of Louis XV marquetry inlaid Ciffonnière. These kingwood table have three drawers, precious mounts and inlay to three sides and the top. The inlay of flower, leaf and vine is a combination of multiple woods giving the color variations and design. Hand cut and pieced together. Four slender cabriole walnut legs and back is walnut to match the legs. Very well made and high quality. C. 1920-1940′s.

Louis XV Style Walnut Bibliotech from the 19th Century

This elegant late 19th century walnut bibliotech has a break front. There are three glass doors with glass shelves and a mirror back. The interior is oak-lined with lights.The side doors stand out with raised panels and beveled glass surrounded by thick frame molding that has a scalloped shell in the crest. This piece is adorned with carvings throughout, including diamond shape rosettes that appear on the cornice and throughout the rest of the piece. The bibliotech is also accented throughout by diaper marquetry carvings. Carved acanthus leaves appear on the knees of the cabriole legs. This piece is stamped on the back L.André from Angers, France. C. 1890.
