Scottish Regency Chest
Early 19th C. Scottish mahogany chest of drawers with a D-end shape. This meaning looking at the chest from side top view it has a look of the letter D. This is chest is from the Regency period or George IV. There are four highly figured bleached front drawers. Each on in a graduated size. Striking brass lion pulls adorn the fronts of the drawers. Mahogany sides and top. The chest rest upon four spectacular lion carved feet. This chest weight is that of a period chest. This is a fine focal point piece of furniture ready for use. Very nice antique condition. Circa 1810-1820.
