Vintage Hand Woven Tapestry Of Classic Chateau Scene
During the reign of Louis XIV in France in the 17th Century, the Royal Gobelins in Paris wove a set of 12 tapestries depicting various Royal Palaces, each representing a different month of the year. Most of the tapestries were lost during the French Revolution. Only about 5 or 6 of them remain in Museums. Chateau de Monceau represnts the month of December.
