Walnut Chippendale stool with leather polished seat. Strong cabriole with mask face carved into the leg, below a ribbon and bell flowers leading to an amazing carved hairy paw foot. One example of measuring the quality of this stool is the gadroon apron. Beautiful French polished finish. Leather has been replaced. C.1900.
