19th C. Sheraton Inlaid Sideboard
A superb 19th C. Sheraton Satinwood inlaid sideboard with brass gallery. The sideboard has a shaped breakfront. Very intricate inlay. There are three drawers with round laurel pulls above four-door with shelves. Each shelf finished and fronts veneered. Inlay woods consist of tulipwood, ebony, olive wood, and fruitwoods. These inlays are in urns shapes, fan, Bellflower, clover, swags, ribbons, and string inlays. The sideboard interior wood, drawers lined with mahogany. A fantastic patina french polish. Tapered legs with spade feet (inlaid). The brass gallery (not original) replaced a wooden splashback (has been removed). This sideboard is again very well made and quality English craftsmanship. 39.5″ tall to the serving top.
